The music world is a strange place it seems. Awhile back I mentioned my frustration about a song whose opening beats sound a lot like The Fugees' "Ready or Not"... Well, tonight I've been working on putting songs on my MP3 player and taking off songs Nell had on there that I don't want. So I'm listening to some Enya that she had on there, a song called "Boadicea," when it hits me - it's the same beat yet again! Only this is apparently the original version. I looked at the credits for The Score, and there under "Ready or Not" it gives credit for the Enya sample. Weird. The Fugees sampled Enya. That just doesn't seem quite right, somehow.
